This makes him incredibly bulky and access to heavy armor let's him actually survive a physical attack or two. Golbez has unsurprisingly high HP and defense when compared to other mages, and comparatively meta Magic stat at 5036, 210, and 282 respectively after potting. The great thing about his skills is they are heavy weighted on the magic side aside from spirit, typically about 60/40 instead of 50/50. He doesn't rely on summoning espers to deal damage, and he can't summon espers of all allies. Main place where he differs from other traditional summoners is his skill is entirely his own. He can perform both roles equally, and offers some support with filling the gauge.
